Job Title: Environmental Scientist, Senior Project Manager

Status: Exempt


Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a Natural Science and at least eight years of related work experience.

Job Description:

•Field work including: wetland delineations, agency verification, listed
species surveys, vegetation surveys, wetland monitoring & habitat analysis
•Preparation, submittal, and work associated with obtaining Formal
Determinations (State) and Jurisdictional Determinations (USACE)
•Agency/regulatory coordination and correspondence
•Assessment of wetlands for impact and mitigation
•UMAM Analysis
•Wetland mitigation plans, development, design, and construction
•Gopher tortoise permitting and relocation
•Conduct research and acquire maps for projects
•Coordinate wetland monitoring (or conduct, if necessary) and prepare
and submit monitoring reports to agencies
•Preparation of Environmental Permit Applications
•Lead project meetings with clients and regulatory personnel
•Project management and scheduling
•Management of project staff
•Responsible for managing projects and assisting with management of
personnel in the Environmental Scientist Department
•Project invoicing and related accounting reports
•Develop and tract proposals and budgets
•Quality control of all department work
•Coordinate with principals and other departments as necessary
•Preparation of yearly cost projection budgets for Environmental Science
•Hiring and interviewing
